A Little Girls Dream
As a little girl, I remember watching the women at my church pack and prepare for their women’s retreat. I could hear the chatter, feel their excitement, and see the anticipation in their eyes as they prepared to get away with the Lord. I longed for the day when I could experience that for myself.
Are You Ready to Come Away and Breathe Again?
I see you. You’ve been carrying so much, always pouring out, always showing up. Your soul is longing for a place to just be—to breathe deeply, to step away from the noise, and to hear God’s voice without distraction.
I can already picture you here.
I see you stepping onto the retreat grounds, feeling the weight of the world begin to lift. The stillness, the beauty, the presence of God all around you—it’s exactly what you didn’t know you needed.
I see you exhaling, finally releasing the tension you’ve been holding. I see you wrapped in the warmth of sisterhood, surrounded by women who understand, who see you, who pour into you just as much as you pour into them.
I see the moments of stillness where you sit with God, unhurried, unbothered by the distractions of life. The peace of His presence settling over you like a blanket.
I see the breakthroughs—the moments where clarity comes, where the questions you’ve been carrying finally meet God’s answers.
I see the joy, the laughter, the deep, soul-refreshing conversations. I see you resting, refilling, and realigning your heart with God’s purpose.
And I see you leaving different. Lighter. Stronger. Renewed.
This is the space your soul has been craving. A space to reset, to be reminded of who you are, and to return home filled to overflow.

I'm Your Host Rachel
As a little girl, I remember watching the women at my church pack and prepare for their women’s retreat. I could hear the chatter, feel their excitement, and see the anticipation in their eyes as they prepared to get away with the Lord. I longed for the day when I could experience that for myself.
But as I grew older, it seemed like retreats became a thing of the past. Life got louder, the demands grew heavier, and the idea of stepping away felt more like a luxury than a necessity. Yet deep in my heart, I knew I needed time to get away from the noise, to reset, and to simply be with my Father.
That longing to attend a retreat eventually transformed into something even greater—a desire to create that space for others. But I knew it couldn’t be just any retreat. It had to be the right place, the right time, and the right people.
Slowly but surely, that dream took shape. And then, in a moment of fasting and prayer, as I sought God about something completely unrelated, He led me to the location where I would hold my first retreat. It was a divine confirmation—a reminder that when God places a vision in our hearts, He also prepares the way.
The Purpose-Filled Retreat was born out of that sacred journey, and my hope is that every woman who attends experiences more than just a getaway. I want you to feel seen, known, and deeply loved by God. I pray this retreat becomes a place where you can exhale, be refreshed, and step into the presence of God without distractions.
This is more than an event—it’s a sacred space for you to rest, refill, and reset in Him. And I can’t wait to see what He has in store for you.

Absolutely! All meals are included in your retreat package. You’ll enjoy a variety of delicious and nourishing options throughout your stay. A form will be sent out so that we can try our best to accomodate any special dietary needs.
Please note:
At this time, we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions beyond SOME dairy-free, lactose-free, and vegan options. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Is transportation provided?
Transportation is not included. However, the closest airport is Akron-Canton Airport, which is just a short drive away. The nearest main airport is Cleveland Hopkins which is about an hour away from the retreat house. You can then Uber to the location.
How are the room assignments handled?
Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to reserve your spot early to get your preferred accommodation! There are 7 private rooms and one shared room for 4 people.
Do the private rooms include private restrooms?
No, the private rooms do not include private restrooms. There are several community restrooms in the retreat home with a variety of amenities, such as, sauna, jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, etc., for everyone to access.
What should I bring?
Bring comfortable clothing, your Bible, a journal, and any personal items you need for a cozy and reflective stay. We’ll provide the rest!
What kind of sessions can I expect?
On Friday and Saturday there will be one session held from 1-3 pm (see agenda) focused on resetting in your time with God. So come ready with your Bible and anything else you might use during your normal Bible Study time. However, I can’t emphasize this enough: this is NOT a conference. It’s a retreat. A place to come and rest, relax, sit with Jesus, and allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you. The schedule is intentionally not packed with activities. Instead, it’s designed to give you space to empty yourself of everything you’ve been carrying and be filled with God’s presence.
When is the final day to sign up for the retreat?
This depends on if you are a past participant, on the waitlist, or general attendee. Please email us at contact@rachelgscott.com for the answer to this question. We’re here to make sure you’re ready for an amazing experience.
How many people can register for this retreat?
The retreat is currently limited to 11 guest and spots are available first come first serve.
