STATEMENT OF FAITH
As a believer in Jesus Christ, I affirm my faith in the following statements:
I believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who came to earth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for my sins, and rose again on the third day, defeating death and providing salvation for all who believe in Him. (John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
I believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, who dwells within me as a believer, guiding me, empowering me, and convicting me of sin. (Acts 1:8; John 16:7-8)
I believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, containing everything I need for faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
I believe in the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Jesus Christ, and in the necessity of repentance and faith for salvation. (Ephesians 1:7; Acts 2:38)
I believe in the resurrection of the dead and the promise of eternal life for all who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. (John 11:25-26; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
I believe in the Church as the body of Christ, called to love one another, to proclaim the gospel, and to make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 4:11-13)
I believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, when He will judge the living and the dead, and establish His kingdom of righteousness and peace. (Acts 1:11; Revelation 22:20)
In everything, I seek to live out the commandments of Jesus Christ, loving God with all my heart, soul, and mind, and loving my neighbor as myself. (Matthew 22:37-39) Amen.
